European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Culture & Creativity has launched the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Fashion Adaptor, a 10-week training programme designed to help fashion and textile SMEs transition from conventional production to circular, resource-conscious practices.
The programme addresses pressing sector challenges such as overproduction, material waste, and supply chain transparency. SMEs will benefit from:
- Weekly online workshops and personalised mentoring sessions
- Access to a digital tool for measuring and benchmarking circular progress
- A final demo day held in person to showcase transformations and network with partners
By the end of the programme, each selected SME will have developed a concrete roadmap for circular transformation, focusing on sustainable design, material innovation, and new business models. Beyond supporting individual companies, the initiative contributes to advancing sustainability and competitiveness across the European fashion sector. A maximum of 30 SMEs will be selected to join the programme, with applications open until 15 September 2025.
