ReHubs, an industry alliance for circular textiles, released its new strategy and tactical action plan. The plan serves as a European roadmap and portfolio of initiatives aiming to unlock textile-to-textile recycling at scale and resolve the supply-demand deadlock in recycled fibre markets.
The strategy rests on two pillars:
- End-to-end supply chain management, streamlining collection, sorting, recycling and manufacturing to provide reliable recycled inputs.
- Financing orchestration, mobilising and de-risking the estimated €5-6 billion of public and private funding needed to grow infrastructure capacity across Europe.
To support these pillars, six strategic levers are integrated: harmonisation of industry standards, policy advocacy, research, network coordination, technology & infrastructure scalability, and brand coalition building.
