Organised by European Commission (DG GROW), EISMEA, EY and SDA Bocconi School of Management the Finding the common thread: Joining the EU Textiles Ecosystem Platform side event at Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector will provide an overview of the platform’s main functionalities, its mission, and the opportunities offered to the users, including upcoming events and other initiatives. One of the pledges to the textiles ecosystem transition pathway will be also presented during the session. In addition, we will describe the results of a recent workshop with focus on upskilling and reskilling in the garment and footwear sector, organised in collaboration with the EU Pact for Skills.

The OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector brings together the representatives from government, business, unions, civil society and international organisations to discuss challenges and risks as well as learnings and solutions related to implementing due diligence in global garment and footwear supply chains.
