The Second edition of Textiles Recycling Expo, held on 24-25 June 2026 in Brussels, brought together thousands of professionals from across the global textile value chain to explore the latest developments in textile recycling, circular materials, and sustainable manufacturing. Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the event attracted a record 5,607 visitors, featured 169 exhibitors, and welcomed participants from around the world, reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to textile recycling and circularity.

The two-day exhibition and conference showcased innovations spanning textile collection, sorting technologies, fibre-to-fibre recycling, regenerated materials, digital traceability, AI-enabled automation, and circular product design. More than 70 expert speakers from industry, research organisations, EU institutions, and international organisations shared insights on scaling textile recycling, strengthening circular value chains, and responding to evolving sustainability and regulatory requirements. New features introduced this year included the inaugural Textiles Recycling Awards, an expanded Industry Alliance Hub, and co-location with the Future Fabrics Expo, creating additional opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange across the sector. Textile ETP participated in the event by engaging with stakeholders and contributing to discussions on research, innovation, and the future of Europe’s circular textile ecosystem.

The Expo highlighted the growing momentum behind textile circularity and demonstrated the importance of cross-sector collaboration in addressing textile waste and accelerating innovation. The event provided a platform to share practical solutions and strengthen partnerships that support the transition towards a more sustainable European textile industry.
