Centexbel-VKC has been contributing to developing standards linked to the textiles ecosystem’ transition such as the CEN/TC 134 on floor coverings, the CEN/TC 248 on textiles and textile products, and the CEN/TC 473 on circular economy. As an organisation collaborating with the Belgian Standardization Bureau, Centexbel-VKC will also provide sector-relevant input to the Annual Union Work Programme for EU standardisation and contribute to CEN/CLC JTC24, the technical committee developing standardised frameworks and systems for the Digital Product Passport (DPP). Centexbel-VKC pledges to continue its efforts participating in the works of at least 6 textile-relevant standards.
