Various events are planned as part of CNA Federmoda's annual activities (and also in collaboration with the CNA local system) in the context of the RMI Ricerca Moda Innovazione (Research Fashion Innovation), a programme which aims to support youth creativity in the fashion sector and promote dialogue between businesses and schools, between the world of work and young people to bring new professionals to the Italian fashion sector.
35th edition of the Concorso Nazionale Professione
Moda Giovani Stilisti - RMI platform, Italy’s longest-running talent program for emerging fashion professionals:
- Strategic goal: strengthen connections between schools and SMEs in the textile-fashion sector through training, contests, and mentorship;
- Target audience: over 10,000 young participants reached since 1991; open to students under 25 from secondary schools, post-diploma institutes, and universities.
Key innovations:
- Dedicated “Young Talent” section for high school students;
- “5Reels Project”: new digital format to engage students in sustainability storytelling via social media;
- Workshops and prizes linked to key events such as Fiera Milano, Maredamare, TheOneMilano.
The 2025 edition reinforces RMI’s role as a bridge between education and the green transition in the fashion industry, supporting generational renewal and sustainable innovation.
