The DIGITOUR project (Building Digitalisation Readiness in the Tourism SME Sector), funded under the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, was designed to boost the digital competences of tourism SMEs across Europe. Spanning two years—from 1 May 2022 to 30 April 2024—the initiative focused on enhancing the sector’s resilience, fostering ongoing industry collaboration, and creating a practical digital toolkit tailored to tourism businesses.
Key achievements of the project include the development of two core outputs available in four languages, an e-learning platform featuring 12 modules supported by eight animated videos, and the successful organisation of six multiplier events. Additionally, the project carried out extensive dissemination, exploitation, impact, and sustainability activities, alongside robust quality assurance, risk management, and continuous feedback mechanisms to ensure effective implementation.
For more details on the project’s objectives, focus areas, and outcomes, please follow the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform.
