Estonia’s tourist numbers rise 4% in the first half of 2026

According to Statistics Estonia, foreign tourist numbers increased by 5% and domestic tourism by 3%, while total overnight stays rose 5% to 3.04 million. Nights spent by foreign visitors grew by 7%, compared with 3% for domestic tourists.

Finland remained Estonia’s largest foreign source market, accounting for 34% of arrivals, while visitor numbers from Latvia and the United Kingdom rose by 6% and 19% respectively. Harju county, including Tallinn, hosted 74% of all foreign tourists.
