During the initial five months of 2024, Denmark experienced a significant influx of tourists, resulting in more than 18.6 million overnight stays. Notably, nearly half of these tourists were Danes themselves, with domestic travelers accounting for 47.6% of the total arrivals. The capital city, Copenhagen, proved to be the most popular destination, attracting 20.8% of all visitors to Denmark.
