Organised by Moldova's National Tourism Platform and APIT, together with the Institute of Tourism, the Pact for Skills Tourism LSP/PacTS4ALL, and the Technical University of Moldova, the conference drew government ministries, HoReCa businesses, wine tourism operators, education providers, and international bodies including UN Tourism and the European Commission's DG EMPL.

Discussions focused on professionalising the sector, aligning training with European practices, and building out a National Tourism Skills Platform, alongside practical issues like HoReCa taxation and developing marketable wine, rural and gastronomic tourism products. The conference's main output was a resolution recommending Moldova revise its 2006 tourism law to reflect domestic tourism, destination management, digitalisation and skills development.
