On 9 October 2026, DG MOVE and EISMEA will co-host a high-level conference in Seville, Spain, to help tourism businesses of all sizes understand and access EU funding opportunities. The event will feature insights from EU officials, evaluators, and SMEs with successful funding experience, alongside information on relevant tools and platforms, followed by a networking session. Interested stakeholders can already register, with the full agenda and speaker list to be announced later.

The European Commission invites tourism stakeholders, SMEs, industry representatives and support organisations to attend the high-level conference "How does EU Funding work for my Business in Tourism? Tools, Platforms and Training Resources for Tourism Businesses of all Sizes", taking place on 9 October 2026 in Seville, Spain.
Co-organised by DG MOVE and EISMEA, this one-day event will provide practical guidance on accessing and leveraging EU funding opportunities available to tourism businesses of all sizes. Participants will hear directly from European Commission officials, expert evaluators and successful SMEs that have benefited from EU programmes, offering valuable insights into navigating funding processes and developing competitive project proposals.
The conference will feature:
- An overview of EU funding opportunities relevant to the tourism sector;
- Practical advice from funding experts and evaluators;
- Success stories and lessons learned from SMEs;
- Information on tools, platforms and training resources available to support tourism businesses;
- Networking opportunities with experts, stakeholders and fellow participants.
The event will conclude with a dedicated networking session designed to foster collaboration, exchange experiences and explore future partnerships across the European tourism ecosystem.
