Tourism destinations, professionals and organisations from across Europe and beyond are invited to participate in the International Conference on ‘Inclusive and Smart Tourism Destinations: Strategies for Innovation’, which will take place on 18 June 2026 in Genoa, Italy.

The event is organised by ENAT (European Network for Accessible Tourism), the European Commission’s AccessibleEU Initiative and AISM (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Society). The Conference will be held in Genoa (Italy) at the Aquarium (Area Porto Antico, Ponte Spinola 6) in hybrid format, offering the opportunity to attend either in person or remotely.

The conference will bring together destination management organisations, tourism authorities, businesses, researchers and innovators to explore how tourism destinations can become more accessible, inclusive and competitive. As the tourism sector continues to evolve, destinations are seeking ways to combine inclusive tourism practices with smart and digital solutions that can enhance visitor experience while improving destination management and sustainability.

The conference will provide a platform for dialogue, knowledge exchange and collaboration among stakeholders working to shape the future of tourism. The programme will feature expert keynote speakers, panel discussions and case studies from destinations implementing innovative strategies in accessibility, inclusive tourism and smart destination development. Participants will also benefit from networking opportunities and the chance to exchange best practices with international peers.

Tourism destinations and professionals interested in sharing experiences, presenting initiatives or learning from leading experts are encouraged to take part in this international event.

To register for the Conference, participants are invited to visit the official website and fill out the form at the following link: https://www.inclusivedestinations.org/registration.
