The webinar will be moderated by Liisa Kokkarinen, Head of Sustainable Development at Visit Finland and will open with welcoming remarks from the moderator, Ralf Pastleitner - chair of the T4T Green Subgroup and DG MOVE.

  • Session 1 "Sustainable destination management and regenerative tourism" - with insights from Isabel Yglesias Julia, Member of the Employers’ Group of the European Economic and Social Committee, and Xavier Cazorla, Founder & CEO of ELEMENTS, a consultancy based in the Pyrenees of Catalonia
  • Session 2 "Regenerative power of Nature-positive tourism" - featuring Esko Sorakunnas, Postdoctoral researcher, BIODIFUL / Biodiversity Unit, University of Turku and Teemu Tuomarla, CEO & Co-founder of Haltia Lake Lodge
  • Session 3 "Regenerating communities and heritage through tourism", - with contributions from Boštjan Misja of Turizem Podčetrtek and Romana Tomić, Senior expert associate at DEŠA Dubrovnik
