The European Commission has launched a call for proposals under its Horizon Europe programme to explore the impacts of culture and the arts on health, well-being, and social cohesion in the EU. It encourages cross-sector collaboration among the cultural, health, social care, youth, education, and humanitarian sectors, with a focus on developing policy recommendations and scalable best practices.

Eligible applicants include research and educational institutions, local and national clusters, and organisations active in the cultural and creative sectors across EU Member States and Associated Countries. Selected projects may receive up to EUR 2 million in funding, with a maximum funding rate of 100%.

Proposals should address both the positive and potentially adverse effects of cultural participation and promote inclusive, evidence-based interventions. The submission deadline is 16 September 2025 at 17:00 (Brussels time).
