The Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity have launched a call for projects to promote "Smart City" solutions. The initiative aims to support municipalities and municipal associations in developing digital innovations that contribute to smart mobility, energy, and resource management, aligning with the country’s ecological and digital transition goals.

Eligible applicants include individual municipalities or municipal associations. A total of EUR 5 million has been allocated for the call, with a maximum of EUR 500,000 per project. Higher co-financing rates are available for smaller municipalities or collaborative projects.

The application deadlines are 16 November 2025 for the first wave and 15 March 2026 for the second (The original piece available only in French).
