The Interreg Austria–Czech Republic Programme has launched a call for project proposals aimed at fostering sustainable cross-border cooperation to strengthen economic, social, and territorial integration.
Projects should align with one or more of the programme’s four thematic priorities:
- research and innovation;
- climate change adaptation and environmental protection;
- education, culture and tourism;
- cross-border governance.
Eligible applicants—public bodies, non-profits, research and educational institutions, SMEs (priority-specific)—must form partnerships between Austrian and Czech entities.
Successful applicants will receive co-financing of up to 80% of eligible costs. Funded projects may include research exchanges, shared climate adaptation strategies, cross-border educational initiatives, or cultural resilience actions, depending on the priority area selected.
The call opened on 1 April 2025 and the final deadline for submission is 30 September 2025 at 14:00 CET.
