The “Handicap et Tourisme” call for projects by the Pays de la Loire Region aims to enhance accessibility in tourism for people with disabilities through the acquisition of adapted equipment.
Eligible applicants include active tourism-related businesses such as classified accommodation providers (excluding holiday rentals), ticketed visitor sites, bike rental services, nautical and equestrian centres, passenger boats, leisure bases, and tourist offices.
Selected projects may receive a regional grant covering up to 60% of eligible expenses, with a maximum subsidy of EUR 10,000 and a minimum investment threshold of EUR 1,500.
Projects must focus on creating new accessible tourism experiences, improving existing services, or diversifying activities to better serve disabled visitors. Applications are accepted until 31 December 2027 (The original piece available only in French).
