The Interreg VI A Mecklenburg-Vorpommern / Brandenburg / Polska programme has opened its 5th call for cross-border projects in innovation and sustainable tourism, offering up to 80% ERDF co-financing for eligible proposals submitted by 18 September 2025.

The Interreg VI A Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Brandenburg–Poland 2021–2027 programme has launched its fifth call for project proposals under Priority 1 (Activating cross-border innovation potential) and Priority 3 (Fostering cross-border engagement through language, culture, and tourism). This call aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration by promoting innovation in the fields of the circular economy, energy, and mobility, while also enhancing access to cultural and tourist sites in the German-Polish border region.
Eligible applicants include SMEs, research institutions, public authorities, NGOs, and cultural organisations. Each project must involve at least one partner from Poland and one from Germany. Projects may receive up to 80% co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with a total budget of approximately EUR 15.5 million, including EUR 8.2 million earmarked for tourism-related initiatives.
