The topic examined how digital and data-driven tools are transforming destination management and enabling smarter and more sustainable tourism across Europe. Drawing on the monthly article “Data-driven solutions for smart destinations” and the webinar “How to use efficiently digital tools in tourism”, along with the online discussion Data driven solutions in the tourism ecosystem, in July 2024, the objective was to gather best practices, highlight innovative digital solutions across Europe and understand how data improves visitor experience and decision making.
