In March 2025 Oxford Economics published a report highlighting a resilient global tourism outlook despite a downturn in economic sentiment. It covers various topics, including economic sentiment, tourism growth, financial pressures, bureaucracy and trade policies, and travel prices. The Q1 2025 Travel Industry Monitor revealed that while nearly two-thirds of tourism experts have a negative view of the economy, confidence in tourism growth remains strong. The report also noted that financial pressures are easing slightly, but concerns about bureaucracy and trade policies are increasing. It seeks to inform stakeholders about current trends, while offering insights into the potential for continued tourism growth and the factors influencing it.
