The Institute of SETE-INSETE has released a study titled "Greek Tourism 2030 | Action Plans", which outlines a strategic framework for the development of tourism products across various destinations and destination clusters throughout Greece. Completed in August 2021, the study presents a long-term plan for the sustainable development of Greek tourism through to 2030.

The study is designed to support public consultation processes and focuses on three primary objectives:

  • Extending the tourism season
  • Improving the geographical distribution of tourism demand
  • Increasing both the average visitor expenditure and the duration of stay

Accessible via the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform, the study includes the methodology, an analysis of global megatrends, an overview of tourism products and key international markets, an executive summary, a national action plan, and local action plans for 36 destinations and destination clusters.
