During a high-profile visit to Madrid, UN Tourism presented its comprehensive publication, "Tourism Doing Business – Investing in Lithuania," aimed at showcasing Lithuania as a burgeoning hub for tourism investment. As Europe increasingly seeks sustainable and innovative tourism solutions, Lithuania stands out with its strategic location at the crossroads of Northern and Eastern Europe.

The report, crafted by leading figures in tourism innovation and investments, highlights Lithuania’s dynamic economic environment, bolstered by projected GDP growth and low corporate tax incentives. The document details the country’s investment-friendly infrastructure, world-class digital capabilities, and a commitment to environmental sustainability—a tier-one prospect for investors prioritizing long-term returns.

Lithuania’s vibrant cities, rich heritage sites, and untouched natural landscapes offer a diversified tourism offering, further supported by government incentives and EU funding.

The initiative has been backed by Lithuania’s Minister of the Economy and Innovation, along with international collaborators, as it presents a unique co-creation opportunity in tourism that aligns with global sustainable development goals.

To explore the full depth of opportunities and insights, the comprehensive report is available for reading, encouraging stakeholders to join in fostering a resilient tourism sector in Lithuania.
