Germany's National and Regional Skills Partnership for tourism now brings together 69 member organisations from the Berlin-Brandenburg region, after its team took its second national event directly to a hospitality trade fair rather than a standalone conference.

The event, held on 27 April 2026 at GASTRO 2026 in Brandenburg, was organised by EVBB (Germany's national PANTOUR partner) with BK Consult GmbH, coordinator of the German NRSP, and support from DEHOGA Brandenburg. Conversations with exhibitors across the hospitality supply chain, food service distributors, payment and management software providers, sustainability consultancies, and training institutions, surfaced two potential partners: BFD, a nationally recognised digital training provider whose courses qualify for Federal Employment Agency funding, and Sigma Akademie, a Berlin-based vocational trainer in facilities management whose hands-on training model mirrors PANTOUR's own Skills Lab approach.

Recurring themes, digital skills as a baseline requirement, growing interest in green certification, and rising demand for structured upskilling, echoed PANTOUR's broader findings. The NRSP itself, established in early 2026 and building on the Knowledge Triangle set up under TOUR-X, feeds its work into PANTOUR's European Skills Strategy for 2026–2036.
