To boost global investments, the UN has introduced the "Tourism Doing Business: Investing in Bulgaria" guidelines, which are pivotal in Bulgaria's evolving tourism landscape. Presented to H.E. Mr. Miroslav Borshosh, the outgoing Minister of Tourism, these guidelines highlight Bulgaria’s vast potential through its 25 Blue Flag beaches, prominent winter sports locations, and strong wellness tourism leadership. The record of 13.3 million international visitors in 2024 and an 89% increase in domestic tourism spending since 2019 demonstrate the country's thriving appeal.

The guidelines emphasize macroeconomic stability and robust EU integration as crucial elements for stakeholders in the tourism sector.
