The ZEROWASTE II project is a comprehensive initiative designed to enhance circular economy practices within the rail sector, building on previous successful workshops and projects. Spanning 36 months, the program aims to assist railway members in developing actionable strategies that reduce material footprints and greenhouse gas emissions. It emphasizes collaboration across the supply chain and aims to fulfill commitments to the EU Green Deal and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through workshops and technical webinars, participants will share best practices and innovative solutions, addressing challenges like waste management and resource conservation.
