The initiative links food waste prevention with social inclusion: surplus bread is recovered and processed into a shelf-stable product, while production offers employment to workers with disabilities.
The Shared Value category recognises SMEs that create long-term value for people, planet and business, through decent work, skills, fair partnerships and responsible sourcing.
