The EU CAP Network will hold a Good Practice Workshop on 15 and 16 October 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania, focused on assessing CAP support to organic farming. The event will explore evaluation approaches, impacts, data challenges, and peer learning.

The EU CAP Network, with support from the European Evaluation Helpdesk for the CAP, will organise its fourteenth Good Practice Workshop on 15 and 16 October 2026 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, the event will focus on how to assess support for organic farming under the Common Agricultural Policy.
The workshop will examine good practices in evaluating CAP support to organic farming, with particular attention to evaluation scope, intervention logic, and the environmental, climate, economic, and social effects of support measures. It will also address data availability, methodological challenges, and opportunities for peer learning among participants.
The event is designed to support exchange on how organic farming measures can be better assessed within the CAP framework. Further information on registration will be shared at a later stage.
