The Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development will host the EU Organic Awards Ceremony 2026 on Wednesday 23 September 2026 from 09:00 to 15:00 CEST at the Charlemagne Building in Brussels, Belgium. Held on EU Organic Day, the event recognises projects that create added value for organic production and consumption, with award categories including organic farmers, regions, cities, food processing SMEs, retailers and restaurants or food services. According to the Commission, this fifth edition will, for the first time, be open to the public, with registration to follow. The ceremony will also offer discussion and networking opportunities around projects assessed for excellence, innovation, sustainability and transferability. For agri-food stakeholders, the event highlights practical examples that can support wider uptake of organic approaches across the EU.
