AGRI-BIOCIRCULAR-HUB has opened a new funding call for SMEs and startups developing innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and the circular bioeconomy. The programme will award €50,000 grants to 12 selected projects, with four projects supported in each of the three eligible countries: Poland, Latvia, and Ukraine. Applications are open until 31 July 2026 at 17:00 CEST.
The initiative is part of a Horizon Europe project that brings together research, business, and public institutions from Poland, Latvia, Ukraine, Belgium, and Spain. It is looking for projects at Technology Readiness Level 4 or above that can pilot, test, or validate innovations with practical value for the agri-food chain. Selected applicants will receive a lump-sum grant that is fully funded, with no co-financing required.
In addition to financial support, the programme offers 12 months of mentoring, monthly workshops, access to a pan-European innovation network, and a final in-person pitch event. Participants will keep full ownership of their intellectual property. The call is positioned as an opportunity for early-stage innovators to take bio-circular solutions to the European level and strengthen sustainable development in agriculture.
