The European Climate Pact has published a collection of three resources on sustainable food systems: a cookbook of 27 traditional European recipes, a toolkit for engaging stakeholders and communities, and a guide to transforming school food systems for vulnerable children and young people. For local authorities, schools and food businesses, the collection offers practical material for involving communities in more sustainable and healthier food choices.

The collection brings together outputs of three European initiatives. The "Twenty-seven kitchens cookbook" from FoodChoices4LIFE celebrates culinary heritage and climate-smart food practices, the FOOD 2030 public engagement toolkit offers practical guidance for involving stakeholders in shaping more sustainable food systems, and the SchoolFood4Change brochure explains how to transform school food systems for vulnerable children and young people.
The resources are available in the EU Climate Action Academy, managed by the Commission's Directorate-General for Climate Action, and are aimed at citizens as well as organisations, including local and national authorities.
