Geek4Food is an Erasmus+ project designed to revolutionize the agri-food sector by equipping learners, professionals, and educators with the green and digital skills needed for a sustainable future. At its core, the project leverages Artificial Intelligence to analyze skill gaps and match individuals with tailored learning opportunities. This AI-powered platform not only supports career development but also contributes to the broader transformation of food systems in line with environmental and societal goals.

The project addresses the urgent need for a skilled workforce capable of navigating the challenges of climate change, food security, and technological innovation. By offering dynamic, forward-looking training programs, Geek4Food helps users understand which competencies will be in demand in the next 5 to 10 years. This includes both technical knowledge and transversal skills, such as entrepreneurship and digital literacy, essential for driving innovation in the agri-food sector.

Geek4Food also fosters a collaborative ecosystem by connecting learners, educators, employers, and policymakers. Through its interactive platform, users can explore career paths, access educational resources, and engage with a community of like-minded individuals committed to sustainable food systems. The initiative supports the European Green Deal and aligns with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals, making it a key player in the global sustainability movement.
