Τhe EU-funded PATHWAYS project is coordinated by the SVERIGES LANTBRUKSUNIVERSITET (SLU).
Key outcomes
Co-developed Transition Pathways
The project aims to create actionable roadmaps for transforming livestock systems, developed collaboratively with farmers, researchers, and policymakers.
The PATHWAYS project is developing a Holistic Sustainability Assessment Framework that integrates advanced models and refined indicators to comprehensively evaluate livestock systems. This framework considers multiple dimensions of sustainability, including productivity and biodiversity, animal health and welfare, greenhouse gas emissions, human nutrition and trade impacts, as well as ecosystem services
Policy Toolkit & Online Platform
A digital space will be created to support stakeholders with tools, data, and insights for decision-making.
