A market analysis published by fi-compass assesses agrifoodtech investment across Europe between 2016 and 2025, drawing on transaction-level data, surveys and stakeholder interviews. It finds strengths in science-led upstream, deeptech and climate-related innovation, but also insufficient growth capital, fragmented regulatory frameworks and weak pathways from technology development to commercial adoption, and it sets out seven priorities for better targeting existing financial instruments and mobilising private investment.
