The 2026 report demonstrates the continued integration of the Agri-Food Code's aspirational
objectives across the European contract catering sector. Members reported initiatives under all seven objectives, illustrating how sustainability is increasingly embedded in day-to-day operations,
workforce development, procurement practices and long-term business strategies.
Alongside the continuation of established programmes, this year's reporting highlights further
progress in areas such as digital innovation, resource efficiency, responsible sourcing and
collaboration across the food value chain. Associate members continued to strengthen their Group
wide sustainability strategies, while national associations and their members reported an expanding
range of initiatives tailored to national priorities and operational realities.
The breadth of actions presented in this report reflects the sector's growing commitment to
continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. FoodServiceEurope will continue supporting
members in exchanging best practices, promoting alignment with the Code and encouraging the
development of new initiatives that contribute to more sustainable and resilient food systems.
