There is no doubt that data-driven digital solutions are essential across all activities, tourism is no exception. In July we will focus on highlighting different use cases and accessibility of data-driven solutions in the tourism ecosystem. Starting with best practices of solutions already implemented in smart destinations.
This month’s topic is brought to you in three acts: the first part focuses on revolutionising travel with smart tourism. We explain what it is and go through good practices from different European destinations.
The second part is dedicated to harnessing the power of data. We overview innovative solutions for tourism and check out statistical data that helps in understanding where tourism is and in what direction it may be growing.
Finally we dig deeper – by looking into advanced tools that empower the choices that are made in tourism ecosystem. This part is followed with a directory of additional resources related to the topic that you may find on our platform.
