CAUTO is a social cooperative committed to integrated sustainability, merging environmental action with social responsibility. Through the CAUTO Network, the cooperative develops innovative projects that foster circular economy principles and community welfare, creating a replicable model of sustainable development.

Banco di Comunità, launched in 2014, is a sharing economy initiative that enhances resources, skills, and social relationships. Based on exchanges regulated by a symbolic unit of measure, FIL (Gross Internal Happiness), it facilitates cooperation among citizens, associations, and businesses. Participants exchange goods, services, and time, strengthening local solidarity and circular resource use.

CAUTO also operates second-hand shops, Spigolandia and SPIGO, which promote reuse and upcycling. These stores offer products sourced from ethical textile collection programs and private donations, ensuring affordability while reducing waste. Additionally, CAUTO provides specialised technical consultancy in waste management, supporting businesses and institutions in complying with environmental regulations and optimising sustainability strategies.

By integrating environmental action with social impact, CAUTO serves as a model for sustainable development, fostering community resilience and ecological awareness.
