The Hiilikuri CO2 calculator is a digital tool designed for the tourism industry in Finland to measure and reduce carbon emissions. The tool covers direct emissions, energy consumption, and significant indirect emissions like travel. It has been widely adopted, with 367 companies and 5 destinations using it by September 2023. The calculator aids in identifying major emission sources and encourages businesses to take action towards emission reduction.
