The Rural Pact Community Platform has recognised the "Whole Village" model which has been revitalising rural areas in Transylvania, Romania since 2000 to 2024. The initiative aimed to restore cultural and natural heritage by collaborating with local authorities and communities. It focused on sustainable development, creating jobs and supporting local entrepreneurs. The initiative has successfully restored 700 historic structures, planted three million trees and created 100 permanent jobs.
