In Finland, the majority of demand for accommodation services is driven by domestic tourists. As of May 2024, domestic tourists accounted for over 80.4% of all tourists staying in Finnish accommodations, with the remaining 19.6% being foreign tourists. This trend has been consistent in previous months, showing a high reliance on domestic tourism. Among foreign countries, Sweden and Germany lead in terms of choosing Finland as a tourism destination, contributing to 25.8% of arrivals from abroad.
