The data from OECD on international tourism receipts from 2016 to 2018 shows strong growth across many countries. The United States led with 241,985 million USD in 2018, up from 233,759 million in 2017. Spain and France also saw increases, reaching 81,684.2 million and 72,693.6 million, respectively. Germany, at 59,797.7 million, remained a key player, while Italy's receipts rose to 51,796.4 million. Australia and Japan showed significant growth as well. Estonia's receipts reached 2,331.3 million, reflecting a steady upward trend from previous years. Overall, this data highlights a positive trajectory in global tourism spending, emphasizing its importance to national economies.
