In April 2024, the most popular destinations for domestic travelers in Germany were Bavaria (19.2% of all arrivals), North Rhine-Westphalia (13.5%), and Baden-Württemberg (12.7%). For international travelers, Bavaria also topped the list (23.7% of all arrivals from abroad), followed by Baden-Württemberg (15.8%) and North Rhine-Westphalia (15.2%). This pattern has been consistent over recent months, indicating a stable trend in tourist preferences for these regions.
