Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania, has been selected as the European Green Capital for 2025, recognised for its strong commitment to sustainability and practical approach. On 22-23 January 2025, the city held its opening ceremony, bringing together members of the European Green Capital Network, politicians, and environmental experts to celebrate this milestone.
