Skål International, a global network of travel and tourism professionals, has unveiled the 2025 edition of the Sustainable Tourism Awards to celebrate excellence in sustainability within the global tourism industry. Founded in 2002 to promote responsible tourism, these awards recognise innovative and impactful initiatives that balance environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The awards are open to public and private entities, NGOs, educational bodies, and government organisations involved in tourism, with no participation fee. The submission deadline is 31 May 2025, with winners to be announced at the Skål International World Congress in Cuzco, Peru, from 25 to 30 September 2025.
