The Sustainable EU Tourism – Shaping the Tourism of Tomorrow project continues its commitment to empowering European destinations with tools and knowledge for a more resilient and sustainable tourism sector. As part of this mission, the project is launching a three-part webinar series throughout June 2025.
Open to Destination Management Organisations (DMOs), tourism professionals, public authorities, NGOs, academia and other interested tourism stakeholders, the series offers expert insights, hands-on examples, and peer-to-peer matchmaking to support collaboration, access to EU funding, and capacity building.
Webinar 3: Practical tools for sustainable and resilient tourism development through twinning and cooperation
Discover how twinning methodologies and communication tools can strengthen cooperation among EU destinations and drive sustainable tourism initiatives.
This session will explore approaches to developing joint projects, present a real-life twinning example, and offer an interactive matchmaking space to connect with peers. It will conclude with a practical guide to the Communication Toolkit, designed to help destinations strengthen their outreach and convey key messages about responsible tourism.
Date: 30 June 2025, 11:00–12:30 CET
