The DUT Call 2025, launched by the Driving Urban Transitions (DUT) Partnership and co-funded by the European Commission through Horizon Europe, aims to support international research and innovation projects that help cities address urban challenges and move towards a climate-neutral, resilient future.

The call focuses on three thematic areas:

  • 15-minute City
  • Circular Urban Economies
  • Positive Energy Districts

It encourages interdisciplinary approaches to urban development.

Eligible participants include research institutions, businesses, local authorities, civil society organisations, and entities from the cultural and creative sectors. Consortia must comprise at least three partners from three different countries among the ten participating.

Most projects are expected to receive funding in the range of EUR 1–2 million. The deadline for submitting first-stage applications is 17 November 2025.
