The TOURBIT project developed the Digital Readiness Index (DRI), a tool that helps tourism SMEs assess and enhance their digitalisation through a personalised report based on a 44-question online survey.

The EU co-funded TOURBIT project, completed in June 2024, produced several outputs, including the Digital Readiness Index (DRI). The DRI is a free self-assessment tool designed to help tourism SMEs evaluate their level of digitalisation. It begins with an online questionnaire comprising 44 questions that assess the organisation’s use of, and capacity for, digital technologies. Based on the responses, the tool generates a personalised DRI report, which includes an executive summary, a detailed self-assessment of the current digital status, and recommendations for improvement. The DRI is available free of charge and can be accessed in English, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Catalan, and Finnish via the project website, linked on the left-hand side of the platform.
