The European Commission, in collaboration with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and supported by the European Environment Agency and EUROCONTROL, released a report in January 2025 detailing the aviation sector's environmental performance and progress since the 2022 edition. The report highlights progress in areas such as sustainable aviation fuels and air traffic management, and provides key recommendations for mitigating climate change impacts and enhancing sustainability.
