On 10 June 2025, the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF) published a report evaluating how bicycle-friendly European railway operators are. The study assessed 67 rail companies based on six key criteria, including bicycle transport capacity, cost, and booking convenience. It also outlines several recommendations to improve bicycle access on trains.
