After a vibrant summer driven by 'revenge travel,' the European accommodation industry maintains a positive outlook for 2024. Two-thirds of hoteliers surveyed report promising business trends, with room rates and occupancy levels continuing to rise, though growth varies between countries. Chain hotels are performing especially well, consistently surpassing their independent competitors. While business sentiment has tempered slightly following the post-pandemic surge, European hoteliers remain highly optimistic about the future.
