In February 2025, organisations working together under the Destination 2050 Alliance presented a report addressed to the European Commission and policymakers. It proposes changes and policy recommendations to achieve net-zero aviation by 2050, emphasising the need for an EU Industrial Strategy for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAFs), accelerated innovation, research support, and funding for aviation decarbonisation, along with nine other recommendations.
